  • Since you take photos of the damage to your vehicle, it is advisable to carry out the damage detection in sufficient light or in daylight and in the immediate vicinity of their vehicle. At the same time, please make sure that no data of uninvolved third parties are recorded in the photos (eg passers-by, unrelated vehicles with license plates).
  • It is advisable that your vehicle is parked in a safe place and fully accessible.
  • The damage must be clearly visible and you should not clean the damage site in advance (eg traces of paint by the other party to the accident).
  • Connection throughout the app.
  • The app is available for iPhones running iOS 8.1 or later and smartphones running Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) or higher. The use on tablets, laptops or stationary devices is (still) not supported.
  • -> Which version of the operating system is installed on my smartphone?
  • Under “Settings” you will find general information about your smartphone, such as your current version of the operating system
  • For iPhones: Open “Settings” and select “General”. Then select “Info” and scroll down to the info page. Next to “Version” you will see the version number of the currently installed operating system.
  • For Android smartphones: Open Settings, select options, then Device Information or Phone Info / About Device. Then scroll to “Android version” and there you will see the version number of the currently installed Android version.
  • Activation code will be given by only call center at the time of the accident .
  • You can only use the app with the activation code. Open the e-mail and click on the “Start link” under point 2. You can also open the app without the “Start link” by entering the activation code from the e-mail (under point 2) into the login mask in insert the app.
  • The app requires a free space of up to 120 MB.
  • The download size is smaller: iOS 70MB or Android 35MB. Depending on the speed of your internet connection, the download may take a few minutes. In your interest, we recommend connecting via an available wireless network inorder to download
  • Check if the version of your operating system meets the requirements of the app (for iPhones: iOS 8.1 or higher, for Android Phones: 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) or higher).
  • Make sure you are connected to the Internet with sufficient data, When using the app, the Internet connection (4G / 3G / EDGE or Wifi, if available) of the phone is used.
  • Call our service hotline on 011 2030010 (Mo-Fr: 6 am to 6 pm).
Allianz uses your personal information (namely: users, vehicle and damage data, photos),
  • to offer the described services of the app and
  • that the application works as intended.
By using the app, the data entered will be sent to Audatex Ind, which as our service provider processes the data on our behalf and for our purposes. A disclosure to third parties does not occur. For the analysis of the usage and the user behavior a statistical - and therefore anonymous - evaluation of the usage data can be made.
