Allianz’s efforts to protect railway crossings across the country continues

In a bid to protect the lives of fellow Sri Lankans, Allianz Lanka joined hands with the National Council for Road Safety to deploy warning signs at unprotected railway crossings around the island. The 07th & 08th reflective sign board projects underwent on the 13th & 14th of September 2018 at the Muththettugala Railway Station and Wallawa Railway Station respectively.
This is another CSR initiative by Allianz Insurance Lanka with the prime objective of protecting our fellow Sri Lankans from accidents and to encourage safe train travelling habits.
Deputy Minister of Transportation Mr. Ashoka Abeysinghe was present at the event at the Wallawa Railway station, while Dr. Sisira Kodagoda – Chairman of the National Road Safety Council and Allianz representatives, Mrs. Jeewani Rathnayake, Mr. Anuruddha Baddewela, Mr. Jayantha Wijayasiri and Mr. Thushara Rajapaksha were present at both events.
